axaio software just released version 2.2.109 of its tagging tool MadeToTag. This version supports Adobe’s latest InDesign version 2022 (v17.0), which was recently released by Adobe.
MadeToTag is an Adobe InDesign plug-in for preparing and exporting InDesign documents for output as tagged, accessible PDF. Based on the PDF/UA standard, the PDF created with MadeToTag meets the legal requirements for an accessible PDF file. Tagged PDFs are essential for accessibility, so that screen reader devices for visually impaired people or reading software for users with learning disabilities can provide rich access to the content of a PDF. Tagged PDFs are therefore a fundamental requirement of PDF accessibility.
