Shawn Gaither has been working on PDF structure for 25 years at Adobe, and has led efforts in OCR, eBooks, accessibility, document comparison, form field detection, and most recently structure detection for Liquid Mode on Acrobat mobile.

Maksim Bezrukov is leading iText pdf2Data backend team. He also contributed to iText 7 Core product line. Prior to the work at iText Maksim was one of the key developers of veraPDF. Maksim holds Master’s degree in Physical & Mathematical Sciences from the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
